3-19-20 Important - Changes to City & Police Dept Office Hours

Based on the recommendation and guidance from the CDC, the Utah Governor’s Office and the Southwest Utah Public Health Department the La Verkin City Office at 435 North Main Street and the La Verkin City Police Department Office at 111 South Main will be closed to walk in traffic to help slow the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). This will take effect March 19th at 12:00 PM and continue for an indefinite period. Key staff along with the Mayor will be meeting regularly to determine the best course of action to ensure the safety of La Verkin City Citizens as well as members of the city staff.
IMPORTANT: Business with La Verkin City will continue, the City Administrative Staff, the Public Works Crew and Public Safety personnel will still be working, and business will move forward as normally as possible.
Utility payments can still be made online or you can put them in the drop box on the east side of the parking lot, please put your account name and number along with your payment in an envelope and put in the drop box. If you need a receipt put an email or mailing address with the payment and one will be sent out.
If you have business with La Verkin City that needs to be handled personally that will happen by appointment. Please call the City office at (435) 635-2581 or the Police Department office at (435) 635-0427 to schedule your appointment.
