The La Verkin Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at 6:00 p.m., in the La Verkin City Council Chambers, 111 South Main Street, La Verkin, Utah, during a regularly-scheduled meeting of the Commission, to receive public input with regards to a proposed one-lot subdivision of approximately one-half (1/2) acre of real property [to be known as “Lot 1” and measuring 108.81 feet by 200.17 feet] from the northwest corner/portion of Parcel “A” (adjacent to Lots 71 and 72, La Verkin Townsite and Field Re-survey)—which Parcel is located directly west of and adjacent to State Street (SR-9) and south of Davis Farmers Market, in La Verkin, Utah, is known as Tax Parcel # LV-132, and is legally described as:
All of Lot Seventy (70), La Verkin Townsite and Field Re-survey. Less and excepting therefrom that portion conveyed to the State Road Commission of Utah with that “Right Of Way Deed” filed as Instrument Number: 43066, Book: U-8, Pages 388-389 as on file in the Office of the Recorder, Washington County, State of Utah.
Said parcel being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot Seventy (70), La Verkin Townsite and Field Re-survey, said point being North 89° 46’00” East 701.25 feet along the centerline of 500 North Street and South 00°14’00” East 346.50 feet to and along the lot lines common to Lots 71 and 72 from a spike in the intersection of 500 North and 300 West Streets, La Verkin, Utah.
Thence along the lot line common to Lots 70 and 71, North 89°46’00” East 666.32 feet to a point on the West line of State Highway 9 and the West boundary of that “Right Of Way Deed” filed as Instrument Number: 43066, Book: U-8, Pages: 388-389 as on file in the Office of the Recorder, Washington County, Utah; thence South 00°17’35” East 346.50 feet along said West line; thence along the lot line common to Lots 70 and 64, South 89°46’00” West 666.69 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 70; thence along the lot line common to Lots 70 and 72 North 00°14’00” West 346.50 feet, returning to the Northwest corner of Lot Seventy and the Point of Beginning.
Containing approximately 230,944 Square Feet or 5.302 acres.
Specifically, public input will be taken with regards to the proposed approval of preliminary and final plats regarding said one-lot subdivision.
