The LaVerkin Winterfest is a celebration of winter in Southern Utah, traditionally held early December.

Come chill at the LaVerkin City Winter Fest, a celebration of winter in Southern Utah!

This year's events kick off on Friday, Dec. 2^nd, at 6:00 p.m. with a 3 on 3 basketball tournament.  The fun will then continue on Saturday, Dec. 3^rd, with a 5K Fun Run and a free Frosty Fun Run.

The Frosty Fun Run is less than 1 mile and the first 150 runners receive a beanie hat for the run!  Following the Frosty Fun Run will be our unique Winter Wonderland Light Parade that showcases the talent of our local schools, marching bands, businesses, royalties, and families!  Prizes will be given for the Most Imaginative, Best Use of Lights, and a grand prize for Best of Show!  Following the parade will be our first ever Miss Suzie Snowflake Pageant to be followed by continuous local entertainment.  You can test your climbing skills at the Rock Climbing Wall, check out the local talent displaying their art, warm your tummies with delicious hot food, and test your smore making skills around the fire pits.  Continue to relax and enjoy your night by watching an old family favorite Frosty Film.  Following the film will be a Frosty Surprise and Fireworks!  Don't miss out!  Bring the entire family!
